| >FOOD FESTIVAL PUTS ON HALLOWEEN SAFARI SUPPER |
| Date: 28 September 2009 |
The Friends of Christchurch Food & Wine Festival are putting on a spooky ‘safari supper’ to celebrate Halloween.
On the evening of Friday 30 October three restaurants in Christchurch will be working together to provide three-course menus. The difference is that diners will eat each of the three courses at a different restaurant and will ‘go on safari’ to be transported between the three venues.
Diners can choose to start the evening at either The Captain’s Club, The Crooked Beam or Splinters for a cocktail and their first course. A dedicated host will then escort them on a charabanc to the next restaurant where they will be served their main course.
Their dessert will be taken at the third venue before guests from all three safaris will congregate at The Captain’s Club for dancing and entertainment from Emma and Laura Dean.
Those who want to get into the Halloween spirit are invited to come in fancy dress with a prize for the best-dressed – though this is not obligatory.
The cost of the safari supper is £55 to include a welcome drink, three-course dinner with a glass of wine with each course, transport between the restaurants and entertainment.
To book contact The Captain’s Club on 01202 475111, The Crooked Beam on 01202 499362 or Splinters on 01202 483454.
